Just so I don't have to repeat the story several times:

I didn't get into Yale
I got wait-listed from Columbia
...but I got accepted to Brown

¿? so many decisions

But I'm a lot happier than I thought I would be. I think I set myself up for the last 3 to be rejections but hey this isn't that bad.

As it stands, it's probably between Brown, BU (because they gave me lots of money), and Johns Hopkins.

Then there's McGill, but it's far, but Montreal is so nice!

Thoughts, opinions? I think I need a pro/con list like Rory.

Other than this minor disappointment, however, everything else is going swimmingly. The show opens tonight, we leave for the cruise in 2 weeks, the Grease poster looks awesome, it's Friday and I left after 4th period, and then there's London/Ireland in the summer. Really, I'm pretty happy.

Edit: I almost forgot; as of Tuesday, I am now 17½.

Well I won't spoil it here!!

Also, I saw the most interesting movie today which I coincidentally found in the library called "Le Charme discret de la bourgeoisie" (The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie). It was so odd, and nothing like I've ever seen before. But so amusing! I recommend highly.

I wish I could find a job. Looks like I may have to end up working at Highland. Ugh. I hate grocery stores. Well, actually I love them, but hate them to work in. I especially like the produce area. Mmm, raspberries. You know they're out of season now? But don't worry, they'll be back the end of August!!! The only reason I hate the fall & winter (my favorite seasons) is because I cannot get raspberries. sad.

ahh...why did I leave packing to the last minute? Remember there are usually multiple pages of results if you don't like anything on the first page.

Once you settle on a picture, click on it in Google Image Search this will load the page and and at the top of the screen there will be a little thumb-nail of the picture. Right click on the thumbnail, in Internet Explorer click on "Copy Shortcut" in Firefox/Mozilla click on "Copy link location" now paste that link into the parentheses in this code (Make sure you take the spaces out from before and greater/less than signs):
< img src="TEXTHERE" >

For instance, a link to the google image search picture looks like this:
< img src="URLGOESHERE" >

Do this for each track on your album, it seems kind of complicated but it's really not.

Put all this in LJ cut at the top of your page:
< lj-cut text="Album collage" >

Paste the instructions at the end of your collage if you want your friends to do it.
(from ok_computer)
<lj:music>Vince Guaraldi - Cast Your Fate to the Wind</lj:music>

Oh hi.

So I really didn't think that I was going to get back into this again. But there are always things to talk about.

First and foremost, we need to stop talking about DV so openly because too many people know and this is getting scary. But fun too. But scary!

It's March, and you know what that means. March is so slow, oh and I guess, that I just don't know. I have a feeling it's going to be fun though.

So I had a bonfire and I would have pictures if I had a digital camera. Um, yea. Tobey Coffee Wire? No wait, my favorite was CASPER!! But that was the other time. I have come to the conclusion that I do not mind large numbers of people coming to my house as long as their cars don't break down or they don't mind driving the "treacherous route" that it is to get here. Also, as long as they don't look too hard at my wall of pictures because they might come to some m-barrassing conclusions which are not true! You know what I mean.

Well, Zorro's hair is stupid and Batman is growing on me (oh no).

I think I'm going to be disappointed by the remake of Willy Wonka because I mean who can replace Gene Wilder? We'll see.

Limewire is slow and I hate my ISP (who shall not be named) but then again I always have. I just want those songs from Gosford Park that Jeremy Northam sings! And Earth Wind and Fire.

I just realized that I have 50 gmail invites. And while this may be a fad that has well gone out, there must be someone who still yearns for a gmail-email. (z-mail?) Anyways, they're up for grabs.

I would really like to learn French so I'm prepared for Montréal in case that is indeed where I end up going for college. Why-ever did I take Spanish? I would like to time-travel back to 6th grade and smack my 11-year old self for choosing Spanish.

24 is amazing. I wish I had someone else I knew who watched it regularly so we could gush over it and say silly things like "Michelle is back!!" and "Oh, I think Audrey's husband is a traitor." I believe it is the one good thing to come out of FOX.

I think it's time for spring. I am most definitely a winter-person, but enough is enough. The snow is lovely especially when it gets us out of school but I'm ready for something new. All good things come to people who wait.

It's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst... And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment...
